Name Woodward Architect For Court HouseContract for designing Spartanburg County's new $1,000,000 Court House was awarded to Harold Woodward, local architect Thursday. Mr. Woodward said he would immediately begin working up plans and specifications for the structure which will replace the present building, over 50 years old. He estimated that architectural planning would require several months. Funds for building and furnishing the building at the $1,000,000 overall figure will be provided by a bond issue, details of which will be worked out and announced later. The contract was awarded by County Board.
