Easter Seals
The Spartanburg County Detention Facility supports Easter Seals South Carolina, whose mission it is to create and apply
solutions that change the lives of children and adults with disabilities or
other special needs and their families.
Easter Seals South Carolina has been providing services to children and adults with disabilities in our state since 1934. In 2004, Easter Seals South Carolina served over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities in our communities. Easter Seals South Carolina is the largest provider of Early Intervention services in our state. Buck-A-Cup to Brace-A-Child, cosponsored by the SC Law Enforcement Officers’ Association and the SC Restaurant Association, has raised over 15 million dollars for Easter Seals.
